Thank you to our volunteers for their hard work and dedication in cooking a delicious meal for the community this evening. Their efforts not only provided a warm cooked meal, but also a sense of companionship and community. We are grateful for their generosity and look forward to our next meal on March 20th. Hello! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself: I’m Tahani Rashid, Centre Manager at First Class Learning Rickmansworth. I am opening a brilliant new tuition centre in the WD3 area, based at Mill End Community Centre , where we provide structured, step-by-step Maths and English tuition for children aged 4-16. Our proven ‘little and often’ methodology helps students build confidence, master key skills, and achieve their academic goals in a supportive, nurturing environment. I can’t wait to welcome local families and help students unlock their full potential!
My journey in education started early—helping local children with their homework as a kid myself! That small act of support grew into a lifelong passion for helping students gain confidence and reach their full potential. Now, with over ten years of experience in education, I’ve worked with children of all abilities, including those with dyslexia, anxiety, and neurodiverse learning needs, ensuring that every child gets the personalised support they deserve.
First Class Learning is a nationally recognised tuition service, with comprehensive, structured programmes based on the National Curriculum. With over 300 centres in the UK, they have developed a proven, step-by-step, methodical approach to Maths and English tuition, catering to ages 4-16 and I am so excited to be offering these at the new centre.
Our ‘little and often’ methodology ensures steady progress without overwhelm—helping students build strong foundations and long-term success. Learning here goes beyond grades; it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a love for learning!
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to see my students achieve scholarships, grammar school placements, and top grades, but what matters most to me is seeing them believe in themselves.
