A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Centre throughout 2025 — our amazing volunteers, generous donors, hirers, and everyone who has walked through our doors. You are the reason the Centre truly is the heart of our community.

We’re so grateful to you all and can’t wait to see what 2026 brings as we continue this journey together.

We had a lovely morning at Café Wednesday, hosting the Hertfordshire Health Walks Rickmansworth Christmas Party, which was enjoyed by all.

Don’t forget, the last Community Café before Christmas will be on Tuesday 23rd December, we will be calling our raffle.

We’ll then be closed over the festive period and will reopen on 7th January 2026. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Community Christmas Fair. We had a wonderful time with Monkey Music Berkhamsted & Rickmansworth and Santa! A huge thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who came together to make the event so special, and to our community for coming along and celebrating with us.

Don’t forget, we have our Christmas Café on 23rd December with free tea and coffee, a low-cost breakfast, and we’ll be singing Christmas songs together. Come and join us!

Our volunteers will be taking a break from Job Club from 10th December 2025 and will return on 7th January 2026.

Please remember that Job Club is by appointment only, and you must book in advance to be seen.

After the success of the winter forest themed mini-sessions at Chiltern Open Air Museum last December, these longer sessions at Mill End will feature a brand new Christmas backdrop with a cosy fireplace and luxurious frosted trees. No need for wellies and Christmas jumpers for these sessions – get your glam on and dress up for the occasion!

We are extremely grateful to Burford House Care Home for supporting us with our community dinners this evening.

A big thank you to Angela for giving her time to volunteer and for treating us to an amazing pudding — the apple crumble was enjoyed by everyone!

Once again, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all our Centre volunteers for their continued dedication and support.
